Source code for version 2021.03 has just been made available and is based on Chromium 88.0.4324.182.

New builds for openSUSE Tumbleweed and openSUSE Leap 15.2 are also available for download.

Releases for Windows, macOS, Fedora and Red Hat Enterprise Linux as well as CentOS will follow in the coming weeks.

Source for version 2020.11.85 made available

Iridium version 2020.11.85.0 has been made available in source form.

Gaia (Sign In) has been removed from the menu (since it is non-usable and outside the context of Iridium anyhow), and one remaining tenacious Gaia transmission on startup has been terminated too. The new tab page (NTP) is now about:blank, removing the unwarranted retrival of images and favicons from Google and other external websites; Google searches can still be issued from the address bar itself.

We have now also fixed the bug in the macOS build that was discovered in the latest version.
The bug prevents downloading extensions, language packs as well as other features that require a third-party connection.
Privacy and security was never breached at any time!

This has been fixed now and a new macOS version 2020.04 is available for download.

These releases are based on Chromium 81.0.4044.92, with the exception of a build for Debian-based systems, which remains to be outdated at present.

Latest version 2020.04 has been released for Fedora 31 & 32 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux / CentOS 7 & 8.
These builds follow last week’s version 2020.04 releases for openSUSE Leap 15.1 & Tumbleweed.
All current builds are based on Chromium 81.0.4044.92.

Build version 2020.03 based on Chromium 80.0.3987.116 is available for Fedora and Red Hat Enterprise Linux / CentOS 7 & 8.
Also available is the brand new version 2020.04 based on Chromium 81.0.4044.92 for openSUSE Leap 15.1 & Tumbleweed.
